CROATIA DIARY






















SPLIT

Recommended stay: 2 nights

TO DO:

* Hire bikes and ride to the hidden local beaches- you can eat delicious local food and cliff jump
* Bacvice beach- Watch the sunset, go to the beach bars and rent a beach chair from 3-4 euros
* Go to the markets in the city, you can barter but alot of things are fixed price
* Walk the streets and get lost in the lanes of the city
* Bacvice beach is where all the main clubs and bars are, don't go until late or you will be disapointed!
* You can sit in the square, listen to music and BYO your own alcohol
* There are loads of hidden bars in the Split centre, but for me this was a chilled out destination and not much party atmosphere

KORCULA: 

Recommended stay: 1 night, 2 days

TO DO:

* Go on a buggy tour around the island and stop at a small local beach for snorkelling
* Cute bars and resturaunts all in the centre 
* Dos Locos bar

OMIS

Recommended stay: 1 night, 1 day

TO DO:

* A stunningly picturesque place, not much to do here but eat and drink!

MAKARSKA

Recommended stay: 2 nights

TO DO:

* Go to the pebble beach
* Explore the markets
* Go to the club inside the cave

STARI GRAD

Recommended stay: 1 night

* Go on a vineyard tour, it is in the beautiful Croatian country side, with delicious wine and food
* Again there are resturaunts right on the port and all of them are local and fresh

HVAR

Recommended stay: 3 nights

* Hula Hula bar for sunset
* Pink Champagne club 
* Carpe Diem- you have to get a boat over to this bar
* This was one of my faviroute places on the trip, loads of nice beaches and places to explore

MIJET

Recommended stay: 1 night

* Hire bikes and ride through the national park where you can swim in the clear green water
* Kayaking through the lake

DUBROVNIK

Recommended stay: 3 nights

* Game of Thrones tour- see where the show is filmed and see amazing views along the way
* Walk around the wall 
* Lots of shopping 
* Cafe Buza- the most amazing view for afternoon drinks and cliff jumping
* There are so many clubs and bars in Dubrovnik so if you're into partying, this is the place!
